The courses are designed to support and encourage individual professional development of municipal officials. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics including: Fiscal, Technology, Grant Management, Communications, Human Resources, Collective Bargaining, Community Demographics and Leadership.

Knowledge and skills gained at the PA Municipal Administration Training Center will enhance the quality of governance throughout the Commonwealth. More importantly, it will strengthen our communities.

The sessions include online course assignments and interactive discussions, plus online presentations by qualified instructors. Students will have an opportunity to meet their instructors, understand their expectations, and be given the chance to ask questions before the start of the term. Ongoing semester discussions will be facilitated through one of the website blogs.

This series of courses will also cover interactive media, such as websites and social media. Other topics will include the media mix and training on how to properly implement different resources.
